Helium in Colorado
Welding-gas and industrial-gas suppliers along the front range are plentiful. Expect about $300 for a 200 cubic foot tank, roughly $1.50 per cubic foot.
A blimp takes about 170 cubic feet to fill, so around $255 from empty. A sphere takes about 87 cf.
Because you have less lift margin at altitude, budget for topping off at the shorter end of the three-to-seven-day range rather than the longer one.
Lead time
Three to seven days production from artwork approval, then two to five business days on UPS Ground from North Carolina.
If you are opening a location or running a seasonal promotion, order three weeks out to leave room for an artwork revision.
Will it fly in Denver?
Yes. Lift is reduced by thinner air, not eliminated. Keep the tether light.
What about mountain towns?
Tell us the elevation at quote time and we will talk it through.
Why does it sag on cold mornings?
Gas contracts in cold. It firms up as the day warms. Not a leak.
Is artwork included?
On the blimp, yes. Full colour, both sides.
Do you service Colorado?
No. Service is greater Phoenix and Tucson only. We ship anywhere.
